According to Article 2, Section 26 of Arizona Constitution, an Arizona citizen has the right to bear arms in self defense. However, the Constitution does not authorize individuals or corporations to organize, maintain, or employ an armed body of men.
Arizona state permit is not required to purchase shotguns, rifles, handguns or long guns. Under Arizona Revised statutes, Section 13-3106, an Arizona resident, corporation or entity can purchase firearms anywhere in the U.S. if such purchase fully complies with the laws of Arizona and the state in which the purchase or acquisition was made.
