According to Article 2, Section 13 of the Colorado Constitution, a Colorado citizen has the right to bear arms in self defense or in defense of his/her home, person and property. However, the Constitution does not justify the practice of carrying concealed weapons. Colorado state permit is not required to purchase rifles, handguns, shotguns or long guns.
